Puglia IGT Primitivo Sol 2014 Cantina Museo Albea

Puglia Primitivo Sol di Albea was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Goia del Colle, in Puglia.

It is obtained from pure Primitivo grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration for 16 days, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 15 months in barriques of Nièvre and Tronçais and 5 months in bottle, before being released on the market.

Sol di Albea is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas of ripe red fruit, enriched with notes of chocolate, aromatic herbs and toasted. In the mouth it is full and complex, with pleasant notes of dried figs and vanilla, closing with a soft and velvety finish.

This red wine is perfect to accompany red meats, game and mature cheeses.
