Puligny-Montrachet AOC 2018 Reine Pédauque
Description
Puligny-Montrachet de La Reine Pédaque is born south of the Côte de Beaune, from vineyards surrounding the village of the same name, planted on excellent limestone and marl soils.
The grapes are immediately pressed upon arrival in the cellar and sent for alcoholic fermentation which takes place in oak barrels. This is followed by 10 months aging in oak barrels where it is enriched with depth and complexity.
It presents a golden yellow color with greenish tints. On the nose, mineral brushstrokes of flint intersect with elegant notes of hawthorn, butter, apples and hazelnut. The palate is clean and fresh, with an incisive and lively finish.
It is particularly suitable to accompany refined dishes based on white meats and fish but also to be served as an aperitif or in the company of cheeses with a flowery rind such as Camembert and Brie.
