Roero DOCG 2014 Massucco
Description
The Roero Rosso of the Massucco winery takes its name from the Castagnito Roero terroir in which it was born, located in Piedmont.
It is produced 95% from Nebbiolo grapes and 5% from Arneis grapes harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, then the wine ages in oak barrels for about 12 months.
Roero Rosso is characterized by an intense, very inviting ruby red color. The nose opens with a refined and ample fruity bouquet. On the palate it is dry, enveloping and at the same time velvety.
Perfect to combine with cold cuts and cured meats, ideal to be served with barbecued meats accompanied by sautéed mushrooms or escalope with mushrooms.
