Description

Rosso di Montalcino Aminta by Cecchi is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in Montalcino, in the Castelnuovo dell’Abate area, in the Pian Bossolino, Caselle and Cantina vineyards. The vineyards lie between 305 and 335 meters above sea level and rest on soils composed of sands, silts and lacustrine or deltaic sandstones that are partially cemented, characteristic of the Montalcino area.

Vinification is designed to preserve freshness, the fragrance of the fruit and the varietal identity of Sangiovese. The wine ages in concrete tanks for about nine months and completes its maturation with a minimum of six months in bottle, achieving balance and harmony.

In the glass it shows a bright ruby-red color. The aromatic profile recalls red fruits, accompanied by delicate citrus and spicy nuances; on the palate it is fresh, harmonious and easy-drinking, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a pleasantly persistent finish.

It pairs naturally with flavorful pasta dishes, red and white meats, roasts, cured meats, medium-aged cheeses and Tuscan cuisine specialties.
