Description

The Rosso di Montalcino of the line Il Vino dei Poeti di Bottega comes from vineyards located in the territory of Montalcino.

It is produced with 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes, harvested by hand. After pressing, fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in wooden vats, with maceration for at least 15 days and daily pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in wooden barrels for less than 1 year.

Rosso di Montalcino The Wine of the Poets of Bottega has a ruby red color. The nose opens with an ethereal and characteristic bouquet of cherry and berries. On the palate it is warm and dry, with great freshness and harmony, well balanced with a persistent aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany medium-structured dishes, such as pasta with meat, poultry, mushroom or truffle sauce, it is ideal with composite risotto and pork or veal.
