Rosso di Montalcino DOC Poggio Cerrino 2015 Tiezzi

Rosso di Montalcino Poggio Cerrino di Tiezzi was born in the heart of the territory of Montalcino, known for giving birth to the prestigious Brunello. This Rosso di Montalcino follows the same care as Brunello Tiezzi but with a lesser aging.

It comes only from Sangiovese grapes, which ferment in steel at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, before being bottled.

This Rosso di Montalcino di Tiezzi is characterized by a very intense ruby red color. The fruit predominates on the nose, with hints of plum, black currant and strawberry, accompanied by elegant notes of licorice and oak. On the palate it is fresh and rich, pleasantly sapid and persistent.

Perfect as an accompaniment to first courses with meat sauce, it goes well with cold cuts, stewed meats and roasts.
