Description
What kind of wine is it?
This Rosso di Montepulciano is a Tuscan red wine crafted by Dei. Made primarily from Sangiovese, with the addition of complementary grapes, it is vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with skin maceration. The style is young and approachable, with a fruity profile and noticeable yet balanced tannins, designed to deliver a fresh and easy-drinking sip.
Where does it come from?
This Rosso di Montepulciano comes from vineyards located in the Siena hills, in Tuscany, an area that clearly frames the local Sangiovese expression. The grapes are entirely handpicked and selected, supporting an approach focused on clean fruit character, freshness, and marked savoriness.
How is it produced?
The handpicked and selected grapes undergo a gentle pressing to preserve the must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature between 26 and 28 °C, followed by maceration lasting 10–14 days. This technical approach defines a red wine aiming for aromatic precision, bright color, and immediate drinkability.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it shows a vibrant ruby red color. The nose is vinous and fruity, direct and straightforward. On the palate, it is dry and savory, supported by pronounced freshness; the tannins are pleasantly perceptible and contribute to the structure without making the sip heavy, maintaining agility and liveliness.
Food pairings
It naturally pairs with classic Tuscan appetizers, especially cured meats and crostini, thanks to its freshness and savoriness. It is suited to grilled red meats, where its dryness and tannic structure complement the succulence and grilled notes.
When to serve
Best enjoyed when a young and straightforward red is desired, ideal for informal lunches and dinners and for traditional cuisine. Its freshness and pleasant tannins make it particularly suitable with appetizers and grilled dishes. Serve when a dry and savory sip is desired, as it best expresses its fruity profile and stylistic clarity.
