Delle Venezie IGT Rosso Nuaré 2014 Livio Felluga

Nuaré wine comes from the vineyards of the famous Livio Felluga winery, Friulian excellence located in the province of Gorizia.

It is produced with a cleverly studied blend of Pinot Noir and Merlot grapes, harvested during the third decade of September. After the destemming and crushing processes, the must is left to ferment with maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine ages for 12 months in steel, where it stabilizes all the organoleptic characteristics. Refinement in glass follows.

Nuaré by Livio Felluga has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a delicate but complex bouquet in which sensations of hemp and prickly pear flowers are perceived, to which are added notes of white pepper, cocoa beans, coffee and dried fruit. On the palate it is smooth and intimate, with a pleasant acid note that accompanies a very intriguing flavor with notes of avocado and medlar on the finish.

Perfect with game and roasts, it finds its perfection with quality cold cuts and medium-aged cheeses.
