Description
Glana's Second Vin Pavillon is produced by Château du Glana, located on the Route des Grands Vins along the Gironde estuary, between the villages of Beychevelle and Saint-Julien.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes are vinified in thermo-controlled steel and cement tanks for 3 weeks. Maceration takes place at low temperatures. The aging takes place in French oak barriques, partly new, and lasts 12 months.
Deep ruby red in color with garnet hues, it reveals aromas of red and black fruits and balsamic notes on the nose. The sip shows a beautiful tannic structure and has a persistent finish.
It goes very well with stewed and roasted meats, both red and game.
