The Santenay 1er Cru Les Gravières Rouge from Domaine Jean-Marc Vincent is a Pinot Noir from one of the most renowned areas of the appellation. Located in the Côte de Beaune, this cru benefits from clay-limestone soils ideal for the production of structured and long-lived red wines.
The vinification involves careful selection of the grapes, followed by traditional fermentation and aging in oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop depth and complexity. The prolonged contact with fine lees and the use of fine woods confer structure and a fine tannic texture, enhancing the typicality of the Santenay terroir.
In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas of ripe red fruits, floral notes, and light spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a beautiful acidity that supports its freshness. The finish is persistent and balanced, ideal for a positive evolution over time.
