Description

Château La Tour Blanche is an icon of charm and complexity. It belongs to the denomination Sauternes, a precious jewel set in the land of Bordeaux.

The blend consists of 80% sémillon, 15% sauvignon blanc and 5% muscadelle, as per tradition of the type of wine. The bunches of these grapes owe their magical aromatic profile to an alchemical interaction between multiple factors, among which we cannot fail to mention the attack of the very famous Botrytis Cinerea, not by chance also known as Muffa Nobile. This wine of extraordinary elegance and complexity refines inside wooden barrels for a period ranging from 16 to 18 months.

It is dense, consistent, golden and brilliant. Its scent is a festive riot of fruity notes reminiscent of candied citrus, dried apricot, dehydrated coconut and dried figs; there is also the sweet texture of honey and spices, as well as the almond and the saffron imprint perfectly and finely inserted in the complex bouquet. The sip is enveloping, soft and intriguing. It does not deny the fresh vein and not even the savory one, drawing a great balance between its various parts.

Perfect at all times: from blue cheeses to almond desserts, passing through the meditation of a solitary glass.
