Slovenja ZGP Goriška Brda Sauvignon 2016 Blazic
Description
Sauvignon Blanc di Blazic is produced in the Cormons area, in the heart of the Collio Friulano. The vineyards, cultivated according to a low environmental impact processing method, are defined by the presence of marly soils, very mineral.
After the harvest, the grapes are transported to the cellar, where they are pressed to make the must. A cold settling period precedes the start of alcoholic fermentation. It matures on its fine lees to then be bottled.
At sight it is straw yellow. The scent is typical of the variety, with the vegetal hints of boxwood, pepper and mint on an exotic fruit background. The taste is sapid and intense, with a good persistence in closing.
To be combined with first courses based on vegetables or legumes. Ideal in the company of a cream of peas with sheep's ricotta.
