Description

Deliella is certainly the most representative product of the Sicilian company Feudo Principi di Butera. It comes from the central vineyard of the Feudo, in the Deliella district.

This wine is made exclusively from Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested in the third week of September and selected manually. Fermentation lasts about 4 weeks, at controlled temperatures. The must is then left to mature in Slavonian oak barrels for 18 months and ages for 12 months in bottle, before being put on the market.

Deliella has an impenetrable ruby red color. The nose opens with a delicate and elegant aroma of red geraniums, black fruit and nuts. In the mouth it shows an overwhelming structure, followed by a good acidity that makes it easy to drink.

If stored well, this wine can also be drunk more than 10 years after the harvest. Perfect with red meats and important dishes such as roasts, it also accompanies moments of meditation very well.
