Description

Mountain Blanco is a white wine crafted by Telmo Rodríguez, produced in the Sierras de Málaga region, in the villages of Cómpeta and Archez, from Muscat of Alexandria grapes that come from historic vineyards. The vines, often intercropped with olive trees, are bush-trained and manually harvested in accordance with local traditions; situated at about 550 meters altitude, they are located on very steep slopes facing south and west, with shallow, stony soils derived from Paleozoic schists.

The winemaking follows a traditional method involving grape pressing in olive oil presses with esparto mats. The process allows the natural aromatic qualities of the grape to be preserved, ensuring an authentic and distinctive final result.

The wine stands out for its aromatic intensity, typical of Muscat, with floral and fruity notes that combine with a surprising taste complexity. On the palate, it is balanced between freshness and maturity, offering a lively yet refined experience.

Ideal when paired with spicy dishes of Asian cuisine or soft blue cheeses.
