Slovenja ZGP Goriška Brda Rebula Sleckcija 2009 Blazic
Description
Blazic's Rebula Sleckcija - Ribolla Gialla Selection in Slovenian - is produced in the Cormons area, in the heart of the Collio Friulano. The vineyards, cultivated according to a low environmental impact processing method, are defined by the presence of marly soils, very mineral.
The grape, Ribolla Gialla in purity, is selected with great attention at the time of the harvest. After pressing the grapes, the must macerates on the skins, together with alcoholic fermentation. A period of aging in large barrels for a duration of about 24 months makes the wine ready for bottling, without being filtered. It is produced in very limited quantities and only in favorable years.
At sight it presents an intense golden yellow. The nose opens with strong hints that refer to very ripe fruit and withered yellow and white flowers, on an intriguing plot of aromatic herbs and a hint of dried fruit. In the mouth it is savory and very fresh, inserted in a beautiful softness and in a full, consistent structure. Excellent persistence and taste-olfactory correspondence.
To be accompanied with first and second courses with an intense flavor. Try it with stewed eel.
