Description

The Aglianico del Vulture Tenute Piano Regio was born in the vineyards of Cantine Strapellum, owned by Cantine di Palma located on the slopes of the Vulture.

It is produced exclusively with Aglianico grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in wood where it enhances its complexity and structure, followed by a further period of aging in bottle.

It has a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet, with fruity hints of cherry and berries, enriched with elegant notes of licorice. On the palate it is powerful and structured, rightly tannic, with an aftertaste of ripe fruit and berries.

This red wine is particularly suitable to accompany red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
