Description
The Alto Adige Chardonnay Löwengang by Alois Lageder is produced from biodynamically managed vineyards located in the estate of the same name, in the municipality of Magrè sulla Strada del Vino, in the province of Bolzano.
It is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, which are hand-picked and carefully selected. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in French oak barriques. Subsequently, the wine ages on the fine lees for 11 months before bottling.
It showcases a bright golden yellow color with greenish highlights. On the nose, it reveals an aromatic bouquet with notes of ripe peach, candied citron, and chamomile, enriched by hints of vanilla and smokiness. On the palate, it is full and elegant, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany poultry and shellfish, this wine is ideal with all fish-based dishes.
