Description

This Lagrein was born in the Kellerei Kaltern vineyards, located in the heart of South Tyrol. It represents one of the Classics of the Caldaro company.

Made entirely with Lagrein grapes, harvested manually from the first week of September, after the classic red winemaking processes, the wine is left to rest and refine for 6 months in steel, in large wooden barrels and a small part in barrique.

It is characterized by a very bright ruby red color. The nose offers fruity aromas of plum and blackberry, with evident spicy notes of chocolate and coffee. In the mouth it enters elegantly, demonstrating a good body, well-present tannins and a long finish with excellent persistence.

Excellent with game and red meats, it also goes well with important cheeses of good seasoning.
