Description

Alto Adige Moscato Rosa Vendemmia Tardiva comes from the selection of Kuenburg vineyards, in the Seehof estate of Castel Sallegg, located in the Bolzano municipality of Caldaro.

It is produced exclusively with the rare autochthonous Moscato Rosa variety, harvested only by hand in the late period. Fermentation takes place for 2 weeks on the marc in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine ages for 12 months in stainless steel and for another 12 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market.

This Moscato Rosa di Castel Sallegg has a raspberry red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of rose, enriched with notes of exotic fruits, strawberry and raspberry. On the palate it is full and pleasant, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany seasoned and tasty cheeses, it is ideal in combination with foie gras and fruit desserts. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
