Description

The Pinot Noir Riserva from the St. Michael-Eppan winery was born in South Tyrol and belongs to the "The Wine Collection" line. The grapes come from selected parcels in the Appiano Monte and Rungg area.

The pure Pinot Noir grapes are cold macerated for 10 days, and then softly pressed. Vinification takes place in barriques and tonneaux. Finally the wine is aged in steel tanks for 18 months.

Bright ruby in color, the nose reveals aromas of wild berries, blackberries and ripe cherries. The sip is elegant, with an excellent structure and a persistent finish.

Excellent with game and lamb dishes, as well as aged cheeses.
