Description

This Riesling from Abbazia della Novacella originates in the Bressanone basin, within the Alto Adige subzone of the Isarco Valley, where the Eastern Rhaetian Alps meet the Dolomites.

The base of this wine is Rhine Riesling grapes, a white grape variety native to Germany, vinified in steel with an ageing period of 6 months.

Pale straw yellow in the glass with greenish highlights, it offers citrus and herbal aromas on the nose, intertwined with floral notes of jasmine and wisteria. The palate is vibrant with hints of citron and lime, enhanced by touches of minerality and freshness that make the sip smooth and immediate.

It pairs excellently with pumpkin-filled ravioli and asparagus-based dishes.
