Description
This Nero d'Avola is born inside the vineyards of the famous Cusumano company, located in the San Giacomo area, in the province of Caltanissetta.
Made entirely with Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested manually in the first ten days of September, the must is left to macerate cold for 2 days at 5 ° C and then pass to 27-28 ° C during the fermentation phase. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine remains on the fine lees for about 5 months and then finishes the refinement in the bottle.
Nero d'Avola from Cusumano has an impenetrable ruby red color. The nose has intense fruity aromas, where notes of cherry and raspberry stand out. In the mouth it is warm and full, with a subtle presence of the tannic component and a finish of pleasant persistence.
Perfect with red meats and aged cheeses.
