Description
Terre Siciliane Nero d'Avola Nerd di Ferro 13 was born in vineyards located on the Syracusan coasts, in Sicily.
It is mainly produced with Nero d'Avola grapes and with other red berried grapes, harvested in September. After a short pre-maceration in order to gently transfer the aromas and colors into the must, the fermentation takes place separately according to the plot of origin in order to preserve the terroir characteristics. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in steel on its lees before being bottled.
Nerd di Ferro 13 has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas reminiscent of floral and spicy notes of anise and cinnamon. In the mouth it shows good drinking, soft and balanced.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
