Toscana IGT Merlot Antenata 2013 Bindella

The Toscana Merlot Antenata di Bindella was born inside the Vallocaia estate, in the small vineyard of Santa Maria, located on a hill just outside Montepulciano.

It is produced with pure Merlot grapes, carefully selected and fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25-28 ° C. After maceration on the skins for 15 - 18 days, the wine ages in oak barrels for 12 months before being bottled.

Merlot Antenata is a wine with a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with refined, intense and complex aromas, among which stand out notes of cherry, blackberry and blueberry enriched with hints of tobacco and chocolate. The mouth has good continuity and a long persistence. Overall it is a fascinating, balanced and round wine.

Perfect to accompany red meats, sliced and lamb chops, it is ideal in combination with game and mature cheeses.
