Description

The Tuscany Viognier Fontarca of Tenimenti Luigi d'Alessandro was born in vineyards located in the Cortona area.

It is produced exclusively with Viognier grapes. Maceration on the skins takes place at a controlled temperature of 10 ° C for about 8 hours, then the must ferments in barrels at controlled temperatures. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks for about 18-20 months before being bottled.

Fontarca is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose opens with rich balsamic aromas of medical herbs, anise and rosemary, enriched with pleasant mineral hints. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and complex, with an intense structure.

Perfect to accompany fish-based first courses, it is ideal in combination with soups and risotto.
