Description
The Toscana Rosso Alauda by Ruffino originates from vineyards located on the Poggio Casciano Estates.
It is made from Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Afterwards, the wine is aged in French barriques for 24 months and then for a further 4 months in the bottle before being released onto the market.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet highlights. On the nose, it reveals an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, enriched by spicy nuances and hints of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, it is structured, with elegant tannins.
Perfect for accompanying red meats and game, it also goes well with aged cheeses.
