Description
The Toscana Alicante of Poggio al Tufo was born in vineyards located in the Bottinello vineyard, located in the Grosseto municipality of Pitigliano.
It is produced with pure Alicante grapes, harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, before being bottled.
The Alicante of Poggio al Tufo is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe berries and leather. On the palate it is a full-bodied wine, pleasantly soft and silky.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses and meats, both white and red.
