Toscana IGT Rosso Castello di Montozzi 2011 Migliarina & Montozzi

The Toscana Rosso Castello di Montozzi di Migliarina & Montozzi was born in vineyards located in a hilly area between Arezzo, Siena and Florence.

Obtained from the selection of the best grapes produced on the farm, it is mainly made with Sangiovese grapes and other red berried grapes. The wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels and is then aged for 12 months in bottle before being put on the market.

Castello di Montozzi is a wine that represents the true and ancient Tuscan wine tradition, where all the typical features of the area are found. Characterized by an intense ruby red color, the nose has pleasant fruity hints, with strong notes of red berry fruits and cherry nuances. In the mouth it is elegant and well structured. Overall it is a wine with a great personality which, due to its characteristics, lends itself well to aging.

Ideal to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is perfect in combination with red meats.
