Toscana IGT Rosso Gran Sigillo 2014 Ruffino

The Toscana Rosso Gran Sigillo di Ruffino was born in vineyards located in the heart of Tuscany. The label of this wine represents the lily, the flower symbol of Florence.

It is produced exclusively with Syrah grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature, in contact with the skins, with the aim of giving the wine intense violet notes. Subsequently the wine ages in stainless steel tanks thus allowing the perfect harmonization of the aromatic notes.

The Great Seal is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with aromas of cherries, enriched with pleasant hints of black currant and blueberry. On the palate it has a good structure and pleasantly soft tannins. The wine has a soft and fresh finish.

Perfect to accompany roasts and stewed meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses. Served slightly chilled, it is suitable for an aperitif.
