Description
Cirelli's Trebbiano d'Abruzzo originates from vineyards located in the Abruzzo province of Teramo.
It is made from 100% Trebbiano grapes, hand-harvested and vinified using indigenous yeasts. It undergoes a short maceration, lasting no more than one day. Both the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in terracotta amphorae, where the wine is then aged for about 12 months.
In the glass, it displays an intense straw yellow color. The bouquet is fruity with notes reminiscent of pippin apple and white peach, set against a herbal and mineral background; a subtle ethereal note of wax gives it an intriguing character and refines the aroma. On the palate, it boasts a full body, enlivened by freshness and savoriness that run in parallel, making each sip inviting. It finishes with a long persistence.
Ideal to pair with aged cheeses, including those made from sheep's milk.
