Description

This Lagrein from the Quaranta Jugheri collection was born in the Rigli vineyard, made up of 25-year-old plants, located in the northern portion of the Roveré della Luna conoid.

Harvesting is done only by hand. After the destemming with selection of the grapes and a long maceration, the fermentation takes place in French oak truncated conical vats. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and rests in French oak barrels.

It has a rather intense purple red color. On the nose it releases aromas of ripe red fruit and balsamic hints brought about by aging. On the palate it has a full and soft body, characterized by a good structure.

Wine that goes perfectly with braised meats and stews. Also excellent with game and aged cheeses.
