Description

Tenute Tomasella's Merlot comes from vineyards located in Friuli.

The grapes are vinified in red with a cold pre-fermentation maceration. Aging on the lees takes place in steel for 5 months, followed by 2 months in the bottle.

Intense ruby red color with purple hues, the nose reveals aromas of red flowers, cherry, raspberry and strawberry. The sip is full, with soft tannins and a persistent finish.

Excellent with pork loin, grilled meats, first courses with mushrooms and cheeses.
