Trinidad Rum 2003 Plantation
Description
Plantation Rum Trinidad is made in Trinidad, the largest island in the state of Trinidad and Tobago. Produced exclusively with sugar cane molasses, after the distillation that takes place in a column still, this rum ages for 8 years in barrels that previously contained bourbon. Subsequently he was sent to the Château de Bonbonnet, in France, where he further aged in cask, for 4 years.
Topaz yellow in color with a golden patina, Plantation's Trinidad Rum opens to the nose with intense fruity aromas of peach and mango, which evolve towards hints of honey, nutmeg and peppery notes. On the palate it is fruity, with an explosion of lemon and pear, on a background of toasted almonds, popcorn and paprika.
Excellent meditation rum, it is ideal in combination with an excellent cigar.
