Description
The Chambave Supérieur Quatres Vignobles is a red wine from the Chambave area, located in the Aosta Valley, characterized by sandy morainic soils and moderate slopes, with a microclimate ideal for viticulture. This wine is the result of the work of La Crotta di Vegneron, a cooperative that brings together almost 100 winemakers and cultivates about 34 hectares of vineyards.
This wine is mainly obtained from Petit Rouge grapes, complemented by Syrah, Fumin, and other indigenous or traditional grape varieties. The vinification takes place in steel at a temperature of 28 °C, followed by a 12-month aging in tonneaux, with frequent bâtonnage to enhance the wine's structure and complexity.
With a bright ruby red color with consistent violet hues, this wine stands out for its intense and persistent aroma, with fruity notes of raspberry and currant, and floral hints of violet with vanilla undertones. On the palate, it is full and dry, with a good structure and a savory and persistent finish, capable of offering a balanced and harmonious tasting experience.
It pairs perfectly with soups, cold cuts, and stews or meats seasoned with herbs.
