Valle de Colchagua Carménère Reserve DO 2019 Dos Almas

This Carmenère is produced with the grapes of the homonymous vine, coming from the granite and gravel soils of the Valle de Colchagua, in Santiago, Chile.

The harvest takes place between the months of April and May, in optimal conditions of ripening of the grapes. After a short cold maceration, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 24 and 28 ° C. It follows refinement of almost all the production in French oak barrels for 10 months and another 3 months in bottle.

Characterized by a dark ruby red color with garnet hints, it offers an intense and persuasive aroma of aromas of red and black fruits, complemented by spicy, earthy and balsamic notes. On the palate it has a considerable structure, with a balanced body and silky tannins that give more volume to the wine, which goes out in an elegant and clean finish.

Perfect in the company of soft cheeses and pasta dishes, it is excellent to serve with pork and lamb.
