Yellow plum, pineapple and a lovely note of lemon blossom in the background. The palate is marked by lively acidity and tension, with crispness and persistence. The finish brings back citrus nuances.

Description

The Verdicchio Vallenga is born from the vineyards of Tenuta Mattei, located in the prestigious Castelli di Jesi DOC, in the Marche region.

Made exclusively with Verdicchio grapes, this wine undergoes gentle pressing and static decantation of the must, then ferments at controlled temperatures in stainless steel, followed by an evolution phase in the same containers. The wine further refines in glass before release.

Pale straw yellow with greenish highlights, Mattei's Vallenga offers clear fruity notes on the nose, with hints of citrus and white flowers, accompanied by sensations of hawthorn and acacia. On the palate, it is very fresh, with moderate warmth and a pronounced dryness, typical of Verdicchio grapes.

Best consumed within the first year, this Verdicchio is perfect with light appetizers and fish or white meat dishes. Exceptional with oily fish.
