Description

Verdicchio San Sisto Riserva represents one of the Cru of the Marche company Fazi Battaglia. This wine is born in the homonymous vineyard of the company located in the Classic area of the Castelli di Jesi.

It is produced exclusively with Verdicchio grapes, harvested and selected by hand with particular care. Both fermentation and maturation processes are carried out in French oak barriques. The wine evolves for about ten / twelve months in wood and at least one year in the bottle.

Verdicchio San Sist or Riserva is characterized by a bright straw yellow color with evident golden reflections. The nose has very evident fruity hints, with delicate and fragrant notes of vanilla and peanut butter, derived from wood. In the mouth it shows a great structure, with an excellent flavor and a very good persistence.

Excellent with white meats, it proves special with roasted fish or seafood first courses.
