Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG Bèru Limited Edition 2014 Siddùra

Vermentino Superiore Bèru is a tribute to the Sardinian territory and to its wine. The work of the Siddura winery, this highly territorial white comes from a straightforward philosophy based on respect for nature.

It consists of 100% Vermentino grapes from the Gallura area. The soils are mainly sandy, deriving from a granite breakup, and are located at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level. During the harvest, carried out strictly by hand, the bunches are selected with extreme care. After being de-stemmed, the grapes are subjected to a short skin maceration and then softly pressed. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages for about 8 months in new Allier oak barriques. A final month of bottle aging precedes marketing.

Intense straw yellow color, it expresses pleasant hints of thyme and aromatic herbs, enriched with notes of honey and vanilla. On the palate it is elegant and harmonious, with good flavor and freshness.
