Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Tuvaoes 2021 Cherchi

Vermentino di Sardegna Tuvaoes is produced with pure Vermentino grapes that grow on the hills of Usini (SS) at 200 meters above sea level

The vineyards are grown on hilly terrain with a good limestone structure mixed with clayey fractions. Vermentino is harvested during the second ten days of September. The selected grapes arrive in the cellar where, after destemming and crushing, they are subjected to soft pressing. The must obtained ferments at a temperature of 17/18 ° C with selected yeasts.

In the glass it appears of a rather intense straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose the aromas have a good intensity, with notes of herbs, wildflowers and tomato leaves. In the mouth it is warm, full-bodied and with a good freshness and persistence. By virtue of its characteristics it can also be enjoyed a few years after the harvest.

The wine can be paired with seafood appetizers, first courses with fish sauces, mixed grills, shellfish and seafood.
