Description
The Vigneti delle Dolomiti Vette di San Leonardo of Tenuta San Leonardo was born in the vineyards located in Vallagarina, in the extreme south of Trentino.
It is produced with 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested only by hand in September. The vinification takes place in white with pressing and destemming of the grapes, then a short preventive cold maceration takes place. Then the wine ferments at a controlled temperature of 12 ° C for about 12 days and remains on the lees for 5 months, with frequent batonnage and cold stabilization, before being filtered and bottled.
The Vette di San Leonardo is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose has an aromatic scent with characteristic hints of white peach, green pepper and a pleasant note of sage. On the palate it is dry and pleasantly acidic. Overall it is a full-bodied and elegant wine.
Perfect to accompany aperitifs and fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with white meats, cold cuts and cheeses, both fresh and seasoned.
