Description
The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Vigneto Santa Pia of Marchesi Antinori is born in the La Braccesca estate, located on the Sienese hills. It is produced exclusively with Prugnolo Gentile grapes, harvested entirely by hand during the month of September.
The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C for 20 days. Subsequently, the wine matures in barriques for 15 months and for another 20 months in the bottle before being released to the market.
It is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a spicy bouquet, enriched by pleasant hints of red fruits and vanilla. On the palate, it is elegant, with very soft and balanced tannins. The wine has a long and pleasantly persistent finish.
Perfect for accompanying pasta dishes and grilled red meats, it is ideal when paired with dishes based on stews, game, and aged cheeses.
