Description

Treperuno represents the second experiment of the collaboration between the Venetian company La Montecchia, the Tuscan company Rocca delle Macie and the Piedmontese company Villa Giada. The producers, with this wine, have decided to create a product that is an expression of the different regional peculiarities, assembling together Merlot grapes grown and harvested in the vineyards of the three cellars.

It is produced exclusively with Merlot grapes, vinified and left to rise separately in the various companies and, subsequently, assembled during the bottling phase, where the wine ages for at least 8 months.

Treperuno has a very intense ruby red color. The nose offers a scent of ripe red fruit, accompanied by light spicy notes. On the palate it is elegant in structure, thanks to the excellent balance between softness and acidity, classic of Merlot.

Perfect to accompany red meats, it goes well with cold cuts and aged cheeses.
