Vouvray AOC Les Fondraux 2016 Champalou
Description
Les Fondraux is a pure Chenin Blanc from the Vouvray area in the Loire Valley.
The soils of these places are determined by a clayey and siliceous composition. The harvest takes place in the cool hours of the morning and is immediately followed by the soft pressing of the bunches. The must ferments in 450 liter wooden barrels, where the wine ages in contact with its yeasts for about 11 months.
It presents itself with an intense straw yellow color. The nose is composed of fruity notes of tropical fruit and citrus, inserted in a floral and mineral background. The taste stands out for its freshness and flavor. Closes with a beautiful aromatic precision.
To combine with a cod on chickpea cream.
