Description
Schloss Maissau's Weinviertel Steinwandl was born in vineyards located near Mount Manhartsberg in Vienna, Austria.
It is produced exclusively with Grüner Veltliner grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers before being bottled.
Schloss Maissau's Weinviertel Steinwandl has a bright straw yellow color with silver-green reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of flower honey, peach, passion fruit and orange peel. On the palate it is juicy and elegant, with a fresh acidity, with a touch of lemon in the finish.
This wine is ideal in combination with fish-based appetizers and with fish cooked on the grill or in the oven.
