Description
The Wolrd Whiskey Travel is a collection of 6 whiskeys from different parts of the world, a journey to discover the variability of this distillate at different coordinates of the planet: Scotland and Ireland, but also the United States and Canada, India and Japan.
Glenfiddich 12 Years Old is a Scottish whiskey that stays for at least 12 years in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry oak barrels, characterized by a bouquet of fruit and honey, enriched by pleasant floral scents. On the palate it is light and spicy, with hints of pear and a medium-long, sweet and dry finish. The Tullamore DEW Original instead comes from a blend of three Irish whiskeys based on barley malt, obtained from a triple distillation and subsequently aged in barrels previously intended for the aging of Bourbon and Sherry. The result is a whiskey with aromas of green apple and citrus, enriched with hints of vanilla and oak. On the palate it is smooth and spicy, with notes of toasted dried fruit and vanilla, with a medium-long finish of marzipan.
Buffalo Trace's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a classic bourbon made with traditional methods handed down for over 200 years. Aged for at least 8 years in American oak barrels, it reveals sweet notes of caramel and vanilla to the nose, enhanced by elegant oak aromas. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy, driven by a slight flavor on a pleasantly long and spicy finish. The 10 Years Old Canadian Whiskey signed JP Wiser's is a rye whiskey that ages in new oak barrels, in ex-Bourbon barrels and in barrels previously used for the aging of Canadian Rye Whiskey, characterized by intense toasted and spicy notes.
From the Barrel by Nikka is a soft and elegant whiskey, born from a blend of single malt whiskey and Japanese wheat whiskey from the famous Yoichi and Miyahikyo distilleries that ages in oak barrels. The Amrut Indian Single Malt Whiskey is characterized by deep and intense citrus notes, honey and caramel, which in the mouth offers a soft, warm and enveloping sip, with a slightly smoky finish.
