Returning to the origins of Damilano means tracing back to the late nineteenth century the combination of deep-rooted knowledge and the exclusivity of a territory unique in the world. While it's not possible to make a memorable wine without the right expertise, it's also true that Damilano boasts prime cru vineyards such as Cannubi, Cerequio, and Brunate, capable of the utmost expression of Nebbiolo grapes.
From these premises arise exemplary variants like Barolo Cannubi, a wine that is enveloping and substantial, with great development, or the Barolo Lecinquevigne with its fascinating smoothness and persistence. There is also intense concentration in the Barolo Brunate, while with the Barolo Cerequio, tannic depth and structure dominate to deliver hints of tobacco, tar, and truffle. Also worth trying are the Nebbiolo Marghe, fresh and pleasantly concentrated, and the Langhe Arneis, delicate with fresh fruit notes. For the pleasure of the palate and artistry, we're facing a choice that rewards at least twice over.
