Mandrarossa was founded in 1999 after more than 20 years of intensive studies on terroirs. Mandrarossa wines are the result of continuous research and experimentation towards innovation. For this reason, they represent a different Sicily, beyond the stereotypes.
It was founded in 1999, from a study lasting over 20 years, which led to the identification of the best variety/terroir combinations: the ideal habitats for each type of grape to best express its potential.
This study gave rise to wines made from indigenous grapes such as Nero d'Avola, Grillo, and Zibibbo, but also from international grapes such as Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, and Viognier.
