Viticcio
The Viticcio winery was established in 1964 in Greve in Chianti, among the most iconic hills of Tuscany. Since then, the estate has evolved to include over 120 hectares of vineyards distributed between two territories with a strong winemaking vocation: Chianti Classico and Maremma. Two complementary souls that coexist with a single production vision: to offer authentic, elegant wines that reflect the territory.
Two territories, one signature
The vineyards in Greve in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico, produce Sangiovese grapes capable of giving life to vibrant reds with a refined profile, with notes of red fruit, delicate spices, and smooth tannins. In this area, the winery also cultivates small parcels of native and international varieties, enhanced in balanced cuvées.
The Tuscan Maremma, warmer and breezier, completes the production profile with wines of more decisive structure, rich in fruit and with a Mediterranean character. Here, modern and intense blends are created, ideal for those seeking depth and minerality in a red wine.
Certified organic wines
From the beginning, Viticcio has chosen a environmentally respectful agricultural management, adopting natural practices both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Since 2013, the production is certified organic. The care of the soils, manual selection of the grapes, spontaneous fermentations, and careful use of wood allow for clean, long-lasting, and identity-based wines.
A precise style, without excess
Viticcio wines are distinguished by a sober and recognizable style: clean profiles, well-integrated tannins, and balanced acidity. There is no chasing of fashions or forced concentrations. Each label aims to convey the most faithful expression of the terroir from which it comes.
The range extends from Chianti Classico DOCG and Riserva, to IGT Toscan wines with a strong personality, designed to accompany contemporary cuisine with versatility and offer excellent evolution over time.
