Santa Margherita
The history of Santa Margherita began in 1935 with the intuition of Gaetano Marzotto who decided to reclaim a vast area between Fossalta di Portogruaro and the Venetian Lagoon, realizing the production potential of the area and the possibility of intercepting the demand of consumers of the time. Santa Margherita pursues the constant achievement of the highest quality by looking at its collaborators, the environment and the technology with which it stands out on the market for the production of high-level wines.
With a current extension of vineyards that includes Eastern Veneto, the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area and Alto Adige, Santa Margherita today boasts a very complex expertise, experimenting with very heterogeneous varieties and climatic conditions, before gathering many decades of experience and of skilful work. Another strong point is the authentic interest in eco-sustainability which combines vineyard processing practices with the use of renewable energy. A company that has been looking to the future for a long time.
