The history of Santa Margherita began in 1935 with the intuition of Gaetano Marzotto who decided to reclaim a vast area between Fossalta di Portogruaro and the Venetian Lagoon, realizing the production potential of the area and the possibility of intercepting the demand of consumers of the time.
