Matching the right wine with asparagus is one of the most difficult challenges in cooking. The typical vegetal sensation of asparagus naturally brings it closer to wines with particular vegetal and aromatic nuances. Above all Sauvignon blanc and Pinot Bianco or Pinot Grigio. Also excellent are white wines such as Soave or young Lugana.
